Harsh Sutaria is FRA’s Chief Innovation Officer. Harsh drives the firm’s innovation initiative, working with emerging technologies, engaging the start-up community, and driving the transformation of next generation technologies into practical solutions. He implements foundational platforms and programs, orchestrating all of our businesses to innovate on a global scale. Harsh focuses to wholly understand technologies and to identify strategies that embrace market opportunities created by the constantly evolving technological, regulatory, and business landscapes.
Harsh is responsible for researching and vetting advanced technology solutions, such as artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, cloud, and robotics automation, to transform our Forensic Accounting, Data Governance, Compliance & Risk Assessment, and Data Analytics practices.
Harsh is an expert in disruptive & business model innovation, ecosystem strategy & development, and emerging technologies. He is the firm’s leader on the critical components of innovation, including strategy, new-product development, business-model creation, open innovation, culture change, and research and development. He has extensive experience delivering measurable value for companies in product development, go-to market, and customer experience strategy.
Harsh is adept at understanding database architectures and IT infrastructures, leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence to design and develop advanced solutions, analyzing complex data sets, designing mass data management protocols, and vetting emerging technologies. He has led teams comprised of consultants, business analysts, and engineers in Europe, Asia, and North America.
Harsh advises clients—particularly in the technology, financial, telecommunications, pharmaceutical & life sciences sectors—to address corruption risks, respond to regulatory inquiries in multi-jurisdictional matters, and to conduct rigorous internal investigations. He has deployed and supported mobile solutions, defended e-discovery processes to regulators, international courts and the EU Commission, and supported high profile, multi-jurisdictional FCPA, FTC, antitrust matters, sanctions, and internal investigations. Harsh has been involved in various landmark cases, including the DRC Bribery Scheme, and the BOR investigations.
Prior to joining FRA, Harsh co-founded a technology company that was recognized as one of the “Emerging Legal Technologies” by the National Law Journal. Previously, he headed client services for a global technology provider, providing various industries with technology and services.
Harsh is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati and holds a Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems.
