Justin Cohen

Associate Director

Justin Cohen is an Associate Director on FRA’s Data Governance, Technology Solutions & Forensics team based in the Washington, DC office. He has more than 18 years of experience working in the legal field, beginning his career as a civil defense litigator.

Justin has experience consulting across the full Electronic Discovery Reference Model spectrum on hundreds of matters, ranging from narrowly focused internal investigations up to international recovery of billions of dollars relating to a far-reaching Ponzi scheme.

During his legal career, Justin learned Apple’s Swift programming language and developed six applications that passed through Apple’s rigorous app approval process.

Immediately prior to joining FRA, Justin was employed at a Global AM LAW 200 law firm in their Data Science, Analysis & Investigation practice. Justin’s application development experience combined with his eDiscovery project management expertise enables him to meld cutting edge technology with streamlined workflows to create efficiency, cut cost, and reduce risk.

Justin earned his JD from the George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC where he served as an Executive Officer for the Moot Court Board. He returned to the George Washington University to earn his Masters in Information Systems Technology Management.

Justin is a Certified BrainSpace Analyst, Certified eDiscovery Specialist, and has expert level knowledge in Relativity, Nuix Discover, and a variety of other eDiscovery platforms and technologies.
