Kylie Tanner joined FRA in 2011 and is an Associate Director in the Digital Forensics Team. She has over 9 years’ experience in digital forensics, litigation support and incident response.
At FRA, Kylie has led digital forensic investigations supporting multi-jurisdictional anti-bribery matters, data breach and exfiltration, corporate fraud, malware analysis and data spoliation. She has delivered expert testimony for use in criminal and civil proceedings.
Kylie has extensive experience in evidence controls including proper chain of custody, as well as data privacy and regulatory issues across multiple regions. She is has performed forensic acquisition and analysis of digital evidence located on enterprise systems, servers, computers and mobile devices in locations throughout the US, Brazil, Canada, UK, South Africa, Angola, and Vietnam.
Kylie holds her Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Rhode Island, and her experience is endorsed by the most recognized industry certifications including: EnCE (EnCase Certified Examiner), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler).
She has received advanced training in industry standard tools such AccessData FTK, EnCase, Cellebrite UFED, Magnet Axiom, Nuix, BlackLight and Relativity. Kylie is a member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) and International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)².
After spending time at FRA offices in Providence and London, Kylie is currently based in FRA’s Paris office.
