Kylie Tanner joined FRA in 2011 and is a Associate Director in the Digital Forensics Team. She has over 9 years experience in digital forensics, litigation support and incident response. She specializes in the identification, preservation, forensic acquisition and examination for digital forensics investigations and eDiscovery matters.
She has performed forensically sound collection of a variety of data sources including traditional standalone devices as well as enterprise systems – computers, email and file servers, cloud storage and mobile devices – in locations throughout the US, South America, Canada, UK, Europe, Africa and Asia.
At FRA, Kylie has conducted forensic investigations surrounding cross-border anti-bribery, exfiltration, corporate fraud, malware and data spoliation. She has delivered expert witness testimony for use in criminal and civil proceedings.
Kylie has extensive experience in evidence management procedures, as well as industry standard tools such Access Data FTK, Encase, Cellebrite UFED and X-Ways Forensics. As an expert in advanced computer forensic techniques, she is able to conduct registry and log file analysis, user activity analysis, deleted data and password recovery.
Kylie holds her M.S. in Computer Science with a specialization in Digital Forensics, and her experience is endorsed by the most recognized industry certifications including CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler). Kylie is a member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), the Joint Cyber Task Force (JCTF) and ISC2.
Kylie is currently based in FRA’s Paris office.
