Corporate Social Responsibility

At FRA, we recognize our privilege and the unique role we can play in building a more just and equitable world.

For more than 20 years, we have been putting these core values into practice every day through our work to promote ethical business practices and root-out corruption and fraud around the globe. The 200+ members of the FRA family are passionate about the important role we can all play in bringing about positive change in the communities in which we live and work. Through our diversity, equity and inclusion initiative, and pro bono and community service efforts, we actively engage and support our team members so that, together, we can help build a better world.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

We celebrate diversity—it is central to who we are as a firm and it makes us stronger. We stand for inclusion and we are deeply committed to being allies in the fight for justice and equity. We implement best practices and robust policies to ensure we can attract and retain extraordinary people from broad backgrounds, and offer them a diverse and inclusive workplace environment for the lasting benefit our firm, clients, and communities. Our firm wide Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative leverages ongoing education, focus groups, and honest dialogues to ensure the voices of all of our team members are heard and that we are responding to and supporting the needs of the entire FRA community.

Diversity and Inclusion Focus Group

FRA Focus Group

The global reaction to the killing of George Floyd motivated many in FRA to question our internal policies and positions, and acknowledge that there was much more that we could do to live up to our pledge to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion. By the end of summer 2020, we had launched a global focus group of volunteers from across our offices, led by a steering committee that includes top firm leadership as well as drivers of change of all levels and all teams within FRA. Sparked by the group’s renewed focus on championing racial justice in particular, various working groups have been plotting a course for continuous improvement starting internally and extending to the communities in which we operate. From mandatory diversity training to conceptualizing brand new education programmes for youths, this focus group has already begun to enrich us and we are eager to see more impact in 2021.

Employee Engagement

Employee Engagement

We recognize the importance of openness and the need for honest conversation on difficult issues to broach, such as race, racism, and systemic oppression. FRA’s Employee Engagement working group facilitates Diversity Dialogues sessions and panel discussions to allow staff to: learn and grow together, share in a safe and open environment, and listen without judgement. In the first few months of this initiative, this has taken the form of group sharing sessions, panel discussions, book clubs and workshops.

Women’s Initiative

Women comprise over 40% of the FRA team. We find it invaluable to create occasions for in-depth sharing of personal experience, and building relationships that can be trusted for professional support or advice. Our Women’s Network series brings together legal, forensic and data governance professionals. With more and more women making their mark in each of these fields, we initiated this series as a springboard for women in our profession to connect and support one another in their chosen area of white collar crime matters.

Aeriel Davis
FRA is very diverse and it is clear that leadership has fostered a culture of inclusiveness. Their acceptance and enthusiasm for different backgrounds presents ample opportunities to take advantage of my unique skills and innovative ideas.

I appreciate that there are multiple women in FRA’s Forensic Accounting leadership. It is inspiring as a woman who is developing her career as a forensic accountant not only to see that so many women in this field have achieved success and recognition, but that they have done so with FRA.Aerial Davis, Senior Associate

Pro Bono

FRA’s core capabilities in forensic accounting and data governance serve our clients every day in the international fight against corporate corruption and fraud. Find out more about our Pro Bono Services

“FRA’s commitment to driving positive change through diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives is truly motivating.  It has been exciting to see how so many colleagues from our global offices have come together to launch our pro bono program in 2020, where we are leveraging our collective professional expertise to make a difference in our communities.  The important work we are doing through this program has already had a significant, tangible impact for the organizations we have supported, and I am looking forward to continuing to collaborate with colleagues on our pro bono efforts.”

Financial Literacy Programme

In an effort to use FRA’s expertise to help build equity in our communities, a global team of FRA professionals has set out to help young people learn the importance of identity protection and financial literacy. Our pilot Financial Literacy Program was delivered to 180 students from the George Washington Carver High School of Engineering and Science in Philadelphia. After consulting on what aspect of financial literacy would be of most value for us to focus on, our session was designed to explore the importance of Personal Identifiable Information, common methods of identity theft focused on young adults, and practical tips. We are excited to expand the reach of this initiative to other schools in our communities in 2021. Do contact us if you are interested in collaborating in this effort or know of a school that might be interested.

Our efforts were part of a larger campaign that raised $275,000 to support cancer research breakthroughs.

James Norden
The best thing about working at FRA for me is the people. We have such a diverse and friendly group of people from all sorts of different backgrounds, and everyone is extremely approachable, from intern through to partner.

The flat structure is a breath of fresh air, and if you enjoy being given the reins to take initiative and think outside the box, then FRA is for you.
