FRA welcomes Kevin Talbutt, a London-based director on the Data Governance, Technology Solutions and Forensics team. Kevin brings years of experience leading complex, sensitive and large-scale digital forensic investigations, further enhancing the practice’s deep bench of technical data privacy, transfer and protection expertise and diverse multi-jurisdictional experience.
Kevin has a broad range of expertise, working regularly with authorities across matters such as financial crime and fraud, including high profile cases such as the processing, searching and e-review management of multi-terabytes of email data on the News Of The World phone hacking investigation, and price fixing allegations for the Office of Fair Trading. He joins FRA from a leading insurance company where he designed and delivered an in-house digital forensics and electronic data management function, as well as embedded group-wide processes and operating standards for the development and provision of digitally-focused investigations.
Of Kevin’s arrival, FRA founding partner and Head of the Data Governance, Technology Solutions and Forensics practice, Frances McLeod shared, “Kevin’s deep technical knowledge, end-to-end case management and jurisdictional experience combined with the ability to lead large teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and problem-solving skills means that he is able to deliver compelling and well thought out solutions to complex problems.
