OFAC & OFSI: Friends Forever or Partners of Convenience? Assessing the Landscape and Predicting the Future of U.S. and U.K. Sanctions Enforcement Regarding Iran, China and Russia

July 14, 2020

OFAC’s and OFSI’s recent enforcement actions and policy pronouncements, as well as statements by diplomatic leaders in the U.S. and U.K., suggest we are entering a phase of increased cooperation and cross-border sanctions enforcement between the U.S. and U.K. with regards to China and Russia; at the same time, the enforcement agencies may be moving farther apart when it comes to their dealings with Iran.

Join FRA leaders Toby Duthie, Drew Costello and Danielle Logue, Miller & Chevalier’s Matthew T. Reinhard and Timothy P. O’Toole, along with Addleshaw Goddard’s Matt Butter, as they discuss the current international sanctions landscape and where they believe enforcement trends and agency actions will develop in the coming years.
