FRA promotes from within two new Partners

August 22, 2017

Forensic Risk Alliance (FRA), a leading global expert provider of financial investigation, litigation support and forensic accounting services, international eDiscovery and data forensics solutions, has promoted FRA Directors, Emma Hodges from the UK office and Yousr Khalil from the Paris office, as the firm's newest Partners.

Toby Duthie, Founding Partner, comments, "We are thrilled to announce Emma and Yousr's promotion to FRA Partner. I am always delighted to announce firm promotions, however, in this case I am even more delighted as their promotions signifies a first for FRA as they are the first FRA partner promotions from within. Over the last five years, both Emma and Yousr have been fundamental and committed to the firm's growth internationally. In particular, in the last 12 months they have both worked hard and built up their reputation not only within the firm as fantastic project leaders but also externally with the firm's clients as experts within the forensic accounting and multi-jurisdictional investigation industry. At FRA we are committed to giving our employees the opportunity to develop themselves to progress up the career ladder. I believe Emma and Yours's recent promotion demonstrates that our continued efforts are working."

Emma joined FRA in April of 2011 and immediately began building upon her prior experience as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG in Australia and a VP, Forensic Accounting at Alix Partners. Emma has performed in-country compliance reviews and investigations in over 20 countries across Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. Emma has developed into a leader in FRA's London office and an engagement leader recognized by FRA's clients, who we are sure will be just as delighted by her promotion. This year, Emma has been recognized in the GIR 40 under 40 which is testament to her skill and style.

Yousr came to FRA's DC office over five years ago in July 2012 after gaining valuable experience in FRA's competitive space, including nearly 5 years at Navigant Consulting and over 4 years at Kroll in Dubai including as a director. Yousr relocated to FRA Paris in 2015 where she has played, and continues to play, a key part in growing that office and our brand in the French market. Yousr has worked on matters involving fraud and corruption, government contracts litigation, due diligence, compliance, and governance and risk management in the US, Latin America, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Yousr is currently the forensic accounting lead on FRA's largest client engagement, where she leads a large and diverse team on a highly sensitive matter.
