FRA Spotlight: Ailia Alam

August 13, 2020

We are thrilled to welcome Ailia Alam to our DC Data Governance, Technology Solutions and Forensics team. Ailia's Big 4 background enhances our ability to apply diverse experience offerings in the most complex data governance matters, and further strengthens our multi-jurisdictional data privacy, transfer and protection expertise.

We sat down with Ailia to learn more about her background and why she joined FRA. Here is what she had to say.

"From the onset, FRA drew me in due to the work it has conducted in relation to forensic investigations on a global scale. My previous experience was working as a liaison to law firms and government agencies to clarify issues, refine ideas, and give shape to solutions in relation to the e-discovery process from coordinating collections to analyzing data to cull down to the most relevant data-set. Essentially, addressing the daily challenges faced by clients with the use of analytical and technical skills to identify and provide sound decisions and resolutions. Learning how to leverage new tools, particularly AI and analytics has been something I am quite passionate about, and to be able to join a team that is at the forefront of that was just the right fit.

"The passion the team has displayed to deploy new tools and technologies, conduct market research and be ahead of the trends sparked my interest to join the team. In addition to that, FRA has their own development and engineering team, which from my previous experiences I have learned to really appreciate; especially the ability to take technical requirements and create customized solutions for clients and add efficiency to various workflows."
