Gary Carter is an Associate Director on the Data Governance, Technology Solutions and Forensic team.
Gary’s background is in electronic data management and computer forensics and he specializes in digital collections, data processing and forensic investigations. In a previous role, Gary conducted forensic collections across a wide range of electronic media, and processed nationally sensitive data across several European states. He has worked in multiple jurisdictions including the European Union, Qatar and Uzbekistan.
Gary has experience as a Digital Forensic Investigator, where he was responsible for preserving electronic evidence and carrying out forensic examinations on computer systems and mobile devices. He has served as an expert witness and accompanied the UK’s National Crime Agency on arrest warrants to provide forensic expertise and recommendations on whether devices should be seized or dismissed.
Gary is a Relativity Certified User (RCU), Nuix eDiscovery Specialist, FTK Access Data Certified Examiner (ACE), and has been certified in both Encase Computer Forensics I and II.
Gary earned his BSc (Hons) in Computer Forensics from Liverpool John Moores University.
