FRA Spotlight: Anurag Spatzenegger

September 25, 2020

Anurag Spatzenegger is an Associate Director in FRA's Data Governance, Technology Solutions, and Forensics practice and is based in FRA's Paris office. Born and raised in Austria, he is a native German speaker and fluent in English.

As co-lead of FRA's Development & Engineering practice area, Anurag manages a team responsible for in-house Relativity Review environments, SQL infrastructure and mobile solutions, implementing and fine-tuning workflows, and developing new tools and processes to support FRA across all departments, divisions, and geographic locations. Anurag has led global anti-trust, bribery and corruption investigations, helping companies and legal counsel navigate the complexities of eDiscovery matters.

Prior to joining FRA, he developed digitization and metadata capture workflows for rare and special collections of manuscripts, books and objects for cultural heritage institutions, museums, libraries and universities.

Having spent 4 years in the FRA team, we asked Anurag what he thought makes the firm unique:

"What makes FRA unique is our development-centric integration and application of technology, which allows us to provide timely and effective solutions to our client's frequently changing requirements. With a high level of cross-department experience, our global team has a very detailed understanding of the full Data Governance lifecycle, enabling us to provide in-depth support to the most complex cases.

"As a leader in our global Development & Engineering team, I am constantly looking at how new technologies can enhance our existing processes to further expand our client offerings in this rapidly evolving landscape of Data Governance, and I am thrilled every day to be working with such a talented and dedicated international team of experts."
