FRA Spotlight: Csaba Tamas

September 10, 2020

Csaba Tamas is an Analyst in the inaugural class of FRA's Challenge program for the Data Governance, Technology Solutions and Forensics team. Csaba, who is based in FRA's London office, is a native Hungarian speaker and is fluent in English. Before joining FRA, he worked as a trainee prosecutor at the Public Prosecution Office of Hungary, working on a wide range of criminal cases and supervising and directing criminal investigations.

Csaba studied law and graduated from the University of Szeged and was awarded several scholarships for academic excellence.

After six months with FRA, we sat down with him to find out how he's doing and what originally guided his decision to join the firm:

"I was looking for opportunities where I could utilise my creativity and problem solving skills and have been happy to find that the day-to-day as an FRA Challenge analyst requires a 'think outside of the box' attitude.

"I really enjoy working alongside my colleagues; our senior team members have been very present and open to supporting our team and sharing their knowledge and experience. At the same time, it's been refreshing to find that they are collectively open to new ideas and approaches presented by the newer team members.

"In my previous experience, I encountered challenges imposed by technology in the Hungarian legal market; with that background, I'm very impressed by the technology solutions offered by FRA. I look forward to widening my knowledge base and gaining experience in the electronic data management market because I believe that the solutions offered by FRA can shape industries both inside and outside of Europe."
