FRA listed in GIR 100 Investigations Consultancies, 2020

FRA has been included in GIR's shortlist of 12 investigations consultancies every year since 2016. The coveted GIR 100 ranking is based on GIR's extensive research and nominations from practitioners and other experts in the field. Recalling FRA's 20th anniversary in December 2019, GIR noted FRA's "impressive two decades in which it consistently landed roles on big multinational investigations and high-profile monitorships".

Airbus Settlement

The engagement at the center of FRA's accolades this year was the firm's support of the multinational Airbus bribery investigation and settlement announced in January 2020, which won FRA the title of Investigations Consultancy of the Year for the third time in five years at the GIR Awards on October 22.

The team of in-house and external counsel involved in the Airbus case received the highest recognition from industry peers at the GIR Awards, including the In-house Counsel of the Year (John Harrison, Airbus), Most Important Development of the Year, and Enforcement Agency of the Year (the French Parquet National Financier). One Global Team of Experts

GIR acknowledged FRA's work on "a handful of the biggest FCPA cases and... more than a dozen corporate monitorships", adding that the firm had "cemented its position as a top-choice for major law firms and companies to advise on high-profile corruption, sanctions, and bribery matters, providing forensic accounting and e-discovery expertise". GIR gave special mention to a number of FRA's "diverse group of professionals" across all core service areas: forensic accounting, data analytics, and data governance, technology solutions and forensics.
