Businesses and institutions across industries and borders are acting quickly to collaborate in new ways to respond to the current global health and economic crisis. While most may be well-intentioned, some instances of corporate behaviour suggest that antitrust and associated risks are being overlooked in companies' rush to meet demand. Even for large multinationals who would be no strangers to antitrust obligations, it is important to remain vigilant to the evolving advice from various authorities and how that affects business operations in this time. Continuing to maintain an emphasis on compliance and risk assessment may help demonstrate robust decision-making under future regulatory scrutiny.
