FRA Spotlight: Bennett Arthur

August 19, 2020

The FRA team was thrilled to see long-time colleague Bennett Arthur promoted end of 2019 to Global Director of Advisory Services in FRA's Data Governance, Technology Solutions and Forensics team, led by FRA Founding Partner, Frances McLeod.

Half a year into his new role, we sat down with him for a quick look back on his journey with FRA and what has made his experience unique. Here is what Bennett shared.

"Prior to joining FRA, I had worked in essentially every possible role in data management/eDiscovery. I started my career as an attorney practicing in New York and moved into technology solutions and data management/eDiscovery, working in In-House legal departments, law firm technology support, and advisory firms. I joined FRA primarily because I wanted a chance to use my experience to advise clients in a consulting capacity in a global environment.

"I was attracted to FRA's history of coordinating large scale investigations between Forensic Accounting, Data Analytics, and technology solutions and data management/eDiscovery teams around the globe.Since joining, FRA has continued to grow in these same areas and move beyond traditional eDiscovery and data management to higher level Data Governance and advanced technology solutions consulting. I am thrilled to be a part of charting this new direction.

"There are many things that I enjoy about working at FRA, including taking part in important high profile cases in the news and working in countries around the world, where running a project successfully requires an appreciation of different business, legal and local cultures. We have a global practice that allows me to work with clients and colleagues around the globe.

"What I enjoy most about working at FRA - and what I think clients appreciate about us - is the opportunity to work collaboratively among colleagues and clients. FRA is constantly developing new tools and processes to improve efficiency and quality control at every stage of a project, from data organization and identification, to collection logistics, to advanced review strategies, to production. The empowerment to constantly improve and customize workflows brings more satisfaction than any other place I've worked."
