Are we there yet? SEC sets new ‘final’ date for climate rule launch

FRA Director Doel Kar comments on the recent announcement by the Securities and Exchange Commission that April 2023 will be the new deadline for companies to produce their climate change disclosures is April 2023.

She says: “The full impact of these requirements are still being debated with arguments flying on all sides. One can hope the proposed phased approach, first impacting large public corporations will help pave the way.”
