Celebrating the Launch of Industry-Leading Practitioners Guide

December 2, 2022

Co-founder Frances McLeod recently celebrated the launch of industry-leading textbook and practitioners guide, ‘An International Guide to Corporate Internal Investigations‘ earlier this month in Dubai.

Edited by five industry-leading practitioners – Mark Beardsworth, Patrick R Hanes, Ibtissem Lassoued, Saverio Lembo, and Frances McLeod – the book is authored by more than 40 of the leading white-collar crime and investigation experts. The guide provides indispensable insights into how to navigate the increasingly globalized nature of the investigations landscape. Focusing on the complex and developing area of corporate internal investigations, the book uncovers a myriad of issues for legal consideration and advice across 11 key jurisdictions around the world. The book sets itself apart by providing a practical narration for best practice from initial scoping to negotiations as told by the experts on the ground.

The evening was a fantastic opportunity to connect on these topics with experts across the UAE and around the world. Given the increasing demand on businesses to understand and respond to complex regulations in the region, Dubai was a fitting backdrop for the event co-hosted by international firms Al Tamimi & Company, Bär & Karrer, Cadwalader, Navacelle and FRA.
