FRA Wins GIR Awards Investigations Consultancy of the Year 2025

November 14, 2025

FRA has been named Investigations Consultancy of the Year at the Global Investigations Review (GIR) Awards 2025, which took place in Washington DC on November 13, 2025. This is the firm’s fifth win in 10 consecutive years of being nominated in this category.

FRA was nominated for its forensic accounting support in Seatrium's deferred prosecution agreement with Singaporean authorities – the first of its kind in Singapore – and the coordinated settlement between Brazilian and Singaporean authorities. GIR also noted FRA’s work with cybersecurity specialist Exclusive Networks and digital security provider Surys in corporate resolutions secured by France’s Parquet national financier in 2025.

The firm has also been listed again in the GIR 100 annual guide to the world’s leading investigations practices. The research team considers the significance and complexity of recent work, team composition, jurisdictional importance and market reputation.

GIR acknowledged FRA as “a longstanding independent adviser to corporates and counsel navigating complex financial, regulatory and compliance issues across multiple jurisdictions”, with a track record supporting corporations such as Airbus, Binance, Entain, Gunvor and more (see available case studies).

“FRA’s professionals dig deeply into the facts, think creatively, argue persuasively and are super smart. Their credibility with DOJ was evident.

Frances McLeod and Jenna Voss led the compliance side and quickly grasped the company’s progress. Toby Duthie, Weng Yee Ng and Rob Mason led on the profit calculation and were excellent – smart, creative, and well-versed in comparable cases.”
“FRA have acted as our damages analysts – and, candidly, advocates – for several years in connection with a matter in Brazil. Their work has been excellent and critical to a favourable resolution for our mutual client. They possess deep knowledge of Brazilian rules around fine, penalty and disgorgement calculation, and are hard-working and creative, weaving advocacy into their approach.

Toby Duthie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, and Carolyn McDonnell has great technical skills. Both are incredibly responsive.”

The global FRA team is proud to consistently uphold the trust of our clients and colleagues year after year. We congratulate all our peers who have also been recognized this year.
