FRA's Washington, DC, office trebles in size and appoints Stacy Fresch and Jen Baskin as partners

Forensic Risk Alliance (FRA), a leading global expert provider of financial investigation, litigation support and forensic accounting services, international eDiscovery and data forensics solutions, has appointed two Partners to the Washington DC office. Stacy Fresch, head of the Washington DC operations, and Jen Baskin will continue the rapid growth the DC office has experienced in the last six months. FRA's DC office now comprises 25 professionals in the forensic accounting, data analytics and eDiscovery practices.

They both bring a breadth of experience in managing large teams on global assignments in the forensic accounting sector which will provide invaluable knowledge to the growing DC team. Stacy and Jen are well practiced in assisting clients in responding to regulatory enquiries including the SEC and the DOJ which will be an instrumental source of experience for our clients who are increasingly involved with international and multi-jurisdictional investigations."

Stacy Fresch, previously Managing Director at KPMG in the forensics practice, has over 20 years' experience of private and public sector experience. Prior to FRA, Stacy led complex financial statement restatement projects, litigation-support assignments, fraud investigations, and global compliance reviews for FCPA settlements. She also served as an Assistant Chief Accountant in the SEC's Division of Enforcement where she completed a variety of financial and accounting fraud investigations of SEC registrants, corporate officers, external auditors and other third parties.

Jen Baskin, previously a Partner at EY, has extensive experience investigating issues surrounding complex fraud, and bribery schemes; evaluating compliance programs for corruption risks; calculating disgorgement; and evaluating Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as part of accounting malpractice litigation. She was the first forensic accountant assigned to the FCPA Unit in the SEC's Division of Enforcement, where she was involved with a variety of complex multi-national FCPA investigations. Jen also spent time in-house as the Forensic Accountant and Trust & Compliance Officer at IBM.
