The Sedona Conference Commentary on Ephemeral Messaging

July 21, 2021

Ephemeral messaging is an increasingly popular communication option for organizations and their employees around the globe, offering organizations a robust option to strengthen aspects of their corporate information governance programs by enabling secure communications and facilitating compliance with data protection and privacy laws.

FRA Global Director Bennett Arthur was a contributing editor for this Sedona Conference Commentary for Ephemeral Messaging, which offers guidelines to help organizations and their counsel, as well as regulators and courts, evaluate and address conflicting obligations regarding their use of ephemeral messaging.
