The Stella Walsh Award 2017

July 24, 2017

The Fraud Women's Network launched the Stella Walsh Award in 2008 to highlight the hard work and dedication of women who work in the fraud prevention arena. Stella was a dedicated professional within the fraud prevention arena who, at a time when there were few women prepared to enter what had traditionally been regarded as a strongly male environment, set new standards for her peers, until her premature death from cancer at the age of 40.

As proud sponsors of The Fraud Women's Network FRA would like to congratulate this year's winner and the runners up of this award.

Winner - Lifetime Achievement Award:

  • Rachael Tiffen from CIPFA Counter Fraud Centre

Runners Up - Use of Collaboration in Fraud Prevention:

  • Christine Farrow from FFA UK and
  • Charlotte Green from Vodafone
