Umair Nadeem Promoted to Firm Partner

January 8, 2024

The FRA Partner team is growing with its latest internal promotion of forensic accounting expert Umair Nadeem. Having risen from Associate Director to Partner over his 6 years working in our global forensic accounting team, Umair brings an impressive background having worked extensively on multijurisdictional investigations and compliance matters.

Over the course of his 15+ year career, Umair has assisted global organizations to develop and enhance corporate compliance programs; conducted high profile anti-bribery and corruption (ABC) investigations; and led corporate compliance monitorships.

Jerry Hansen seasoned FRA Dallas partner, said “I am thrilled to have Umair join the firm’s Partner group. Umair’s experience handling high profile and large scale matters makes him an invaluable addition to the group. Umair has provided consulting and investigative services to external and in-house counsel, audit committees, company management and regulatory agencies. Umair was one of our first senior hires in FRA’s Dallas office back in 2018, and I have no doubt Umair will continue to impress and further assist our clients in effectively resolving their investigative and compliance matters.”

Currently, Umair is providing forensic accounting support on a DOJ enforced compliance monitorship of a real estate management company and recently led a global team of forensic accounting and data analytic professionals to assess and enhance the sanctions and ABC compliance program of a large European based company with a presence in over 100+ countries.

On his 6 years at FRA, Umair said “My work with FRA has included some of the most significant compliance matters of the past decade and taken me across the globe including key jurisdictions in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. This experience has helped shape not only my professional development but also fostered friendships that I hope will last a lifetime. Being elevated to Partner is a significant career milestone and an opportunity for me to continue to provide our clients with top-quality and bespoke compliance solutions and, at the same time, develop and empower the next generation of forensic experts at FRA.”

Prior to joining FRA, Umair was a Director in KPMG’s Forensic practice where he worked on some of the firms highest profile compliance matters and also led the firms Forensic in the Audit service line for the southwest region.
