FRA sponsors Fordham Compliance Programs and Corporate Law Center, Behind the Crime - Crisis of Conscience: Whistleblowing in an Age of Fraud

October 7, 2019

The book talks about courageous men and women who spoke out, often at great personal cost, in the face of fraud and illegal conduct within their own organizations. Tom's rich storytelling, based on extensive research and interviews, will give a close-up view of the ordinary people who dared to do the extraordinary.

Tom Mueller will be joined on stage by Elin Baklid-Kunz, former health care compliance professional and recipient of the prestigious 2014 Whistleblower of the Year award, to share her own account of exposing massive fraud in her company.

Tom's book, and Elin's story, shine a stark light on the risks every organization faces when money and a sense of transcendent mission begin to outweigh professional ethics.
