FRA Support the United Way of the National Capital Area Initiative

FRA’s US offices recently supported the United Way of the National Capital Area (UWNCA) kit packing initiative, which aims to provide essential kits and services to individuals at risk of homelessness, the region's Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed (ALICE) population, and female neighbours in need of feminine hygiene products in the community.

For nearly 100 years, UNCA has remained committed to transforming lives through initiatives. In the past year, they've distributed 4,500 kits filled with essential items through their annual Project Community Connect event, impacting the lives of those in need.
