FRA Partner Charlie Steele recently spoke with FinCrime Report about how effective the Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) system is following the publication of the FinCEN Files. Published last September, the FinCEN Files shed a light on a creaking system under which millions of reports of suspicious activity are filed to over-stretched authorities every year.
