FRA Co-Founder Appointed Monitor to FCA US LLC

The US Attorney’s Office has announced the sentencing of American automobile manufacturer FCA US LLC, which pleaded guilty in March 2021 to conspiracy to violate the Labor Management Relations Act, also known as the Taft-Hartley Act. The sentencing includes the selection of FRA founding partner Frances McLeod as independent compliance monitor.

The press release notes McLeod’s experience as independent monitor to German engineering firm IAV GmbH in connection with the Volkswagen emissions conspiracy, as well the FRA team’s experience in labor law and automotive regulatory compliance.
